Gallathrix

I know full well that your worship is forbidden,
I know full well you won’t tolerate a hymn,
But love songs form as I’m serving in your circle,
The music swells, it’s how it’s always been.

Chorus:
I’m hearing you in the clashing of the axeblades,
I’m seeing you in the garnet’s bloodied light,
I’m touching you as I tread upon your island,
My pattern’s yours til the coming of the long night.

I know you’re gone from the island that’s your namesake,
I know you’re dead but that there’s no need to grieve,
Ancestral planes hold a portion of you safely,
And you’ll return should your Sirene ever need.

Chorus:

The Wonder comes with lessons for to teach us,
To understand the full passage of one year.
To choose our lives, be they long or be they glory,
To sacrifice all the time that we hold dear.

Chorus:
