Ginger Bear
A Commission
When night beckons
And light starts to wear
There’s one thing you need
And that’s a Ginger Bear
The fiery red head
Will lighten your day
That Caledonian drawl
Will woo you away
Who needs a fire when
Ginger’s around
You’ll always look better
By the Ginger you’ve found
He’ll light up the market place
Scare away muggers
Clash with your wardrobe
And play silly buggers
They’re cute when they’re angry
Though shouty and weird
They’re frightening when mean
And not closely sheared
Yet one question remains
Just like a Bear’s kilt
Is he Ginger beneath
And how big’s his hilt?
