On the Eating Habits of the Gryphons
There are many foods of which a Gryphon may partake
Like cassoulet, and saucisson, and chocolate crepes and cake
But while our tastes may vary, one thing will always please
The way to win the Gryphons' hearts is bring us lots of cheese
We're fond of custard, 'though some claim that it does not exist
The Badgers' nog and browneye means they're almost always pissed
We love our garlic mushrooms, we once ate weasel stew
But come round in the evening and we make a mean fondue
Port Salut, c'est manifique, likewise the Camembert
Our Boursin, Brie and Roquefort are just too good to share
With Saint Agur and Mimolette, we've cheeses small and large
So take a cracker, raise your glass, and shout, Vive Le Fromage!
