Rellan Hold
Seven wise men walked down the hill at Rellan Hold
Two stayed down in the dark, dead and cold.
Five wiser men walked up the hill at Rellan Hold,
Walked out singing dragon's songs, both great and bold
Five wise men stood at Rellan's Gates,
They shook the world, they sang the world,
They rolled the dice of Fate.
One wise man from Rellan's Gate
walked out into the Void.
He tore the book,
Their lives he took,
And dragged her back to Rellan's Gate.
One wise man from Rellan's Gate,
Walked out into the sands.
Madness took him,
The powers forsook him,
Death came by another's hand.
One wise man from Rellan's Gate,
Fell upon his sword.
To watch from shadows
And know as the knife knows,
And hold to their accord.
One wise man from Rellan's Gate,
Walked out through the snow.
When war was won,
He set down his drum,
And laid his head below.
One wise man from Rellan's Gate,
Won the war and stayed
To sleep and wake,
The guard, the gate,
To know the paths of Fate.
Five wise men from Rellan's Gate,
Rolled the dice of Fate.
Five wise men from Rellan Hold,
Walked out again, never to get old.
No wise men from Rellan Hold,
Walk among us now.
One woman walks down Rellan's steps,
Winding down into the depths
