The Bard's Tale
Ah have a tale to tell, my friend,
A tale of you and I.
One where we wander hand in hand,
And circling lovebirds sigh.
It was a dream so sweet, my dear,
Your bard's sweet lullaby.
A truly lovely tale to hear,
This dream of you and I.
But I had a secret deep, my sweet,
A fate to make me cry,
Born long before we e'er did meet
A bond 'tween he and I.
And so here does this sad tale end
'till one of us should die
And now the tale is told, my friend,
Of he and you and I.
