Though sister falls and brother dies
Warm and safe in your bed lie

Stay from the window not to see
The dancing lights down by the sea
Live my child, thou you must sleep
Hush now mother weep again
The news I bring will bring no peace
And any words to numb the pain
Must come from wiser men than me
