Forest of Fae
Pretty and tricky and not to be trusted
Haters of metal (yes, even the rusted)
Deep in the green wood by night and by day
You'll hear the laughter of wild forest fae
Drink with you one day but then in another
They'll take your gear, and part you from brother
Making demands, and riddles they'll say
Cruel and merry, the wild forest fae
Fearing outsiders who tread in their woods
(They say that its hate, but believe what you would)
If you lose the path you'll lose more than your way
Likely your soul, to the wild forest fae
Tell me a story, I'll know if its true
If you meet the fae, now what should you do?
Some say to fight them, some say no way!
And you can't outsmart the wild forest fae
Now I know some things about fae in the trees
I know what makes them go weak at the knees!
Its not cold iron, its not heat of flame
Its Keeper's bad poetry, just mention his name!
They're not all bad, but nor are they all good
They're just who they are, and they do what they would
And it's best all around to let such fickle folk lay
The terrible, fun-loving, wild forest fae!
