What must you think of me?
Do you miss me at all?
Do you hate me for leaving you

I did not mean to go,
I so much wished to stay.
But the Void reached back out for me,
And tore me away.

Someday we’ll meet again my darling when our lives are done.

Till then I wish I could find a way to tell you that I’m ok.

Through the terrible rifts of the Void,
We faced horrors unknown.
And each jump took us further away,
From the paths leading home.
With no power o’er our destiny
The Void chose as it pleased.
Till finally we drifted alone
Like wind-scattered leaves.

Five years was the blessing that the Void gave to me.
Five years with you were the best days that I’ve ever known.
Five years, when I found I was more than I thought I could be.
Those years may be passed but they’ll never be gone.

So now I am home again,
But it’s a home I don’t know.
With my comrades and family around
Why am I so alone?
I miss Clachan’s gentle hills
And the sound of your voice.
And I would return there again
If I were given the choice.
