Walk the Walls With Me
These walls have stood a hundred years, and yet they're standing still
While the Winter's sun won't warm you, but the walk will dull the chill
When duty calls me to the walls, then there I'll ever be.
So who will brave the early morn, and walk these walls with me?
Not everyone will walk with us, not everybody can
Not all take pride in duty done, nor care for fellow man
But some will stand above the rest and face their destiny
So who will come by noonday's chime, and walk these walls with me?
The evening shadows lengthen but our duty's still the same
The darkest night won't stop us, we march by flickering flame
With sword and shield and stoutest hearts we fight what we can't see
So who will burn the midnight oil and walk these walls with me?
So long as there are those who guard these walls will yet stand true
But that depends on you my friend, and that depends on me
We walk these walls that Lantia will now and e'er be free
So who will take up duty's shield and walk these walls with me?
